- The number of homes for sale in Broken Sound increased to 95 from 90 last month, and 44 one year ago. This is the 14th straight month of increases in homes for sale and there appears to be no let up in sight. Home sales have remained extremely weak with only 16 homes sold in the first 4 months of 2007 compared to 23 last year and 40 in 2005. There are an additional 7 homes pending (sold not closed). Home prices continue to retreat as the homes for sale continue to rise. .
- Obtaining a serious contract and a closed sale has continued to be difficult. Sellers who stand out in the crowd are the ones that get sold. Standing out in the crowd could mean a fabulous view, a totally updated house or a price that buyers can’t pass up.
